Roll on paint
One of the things that cools our enthusiasm for painting at times is the amount of mess kids can make with paint which is hard to clean up. Read on to discover our cure.
You will need:
- Empty roll-on deodorant/anti-perspirant bottles
Take one empty roll on deodorant bottle and pop out the ball. (I used a blunt knife, which bent the surrouding plastic a little but it still worked fine). Fill the bottle with paint and replace the ball. Now you have a self contained paint brush!
When the bottle is upside down you get a fairly heavy supply of paint so if you want to slow it down, try puting the paper the kids are painting on on an easel, or some other vertical surface that you don't mind having paint on. With th bottle nearly horizontal we got a nice flow of paint.
